The spruce (light red pine) case is treated and coated with natural wax.

Height 2.23 m, width 45 cm.

19th century movement with anchor escapement.
Flourished enamel dial signed “Vedel a Carmaux” (Tarn).
Paul Vedel was a renowned clock maker of the 1870’s in Carmaux.

Striking on a bronze bell: one strike on the half hour and repetition of hours.
Varnished brass pediment representing a bouquet of flowers.
Brass hands.

Stamped varnished brass pediment.
